Ijeoma Bennin has her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University and is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. She is a resident at CareNet’s residency program in Psychotherapy and Spirituality. She works with adults and has interests that include depression, anxiety, stress, motherhood, individuals diagnosed with cancer, and spirituality. She incorporates person centered, cognitive behavioral and spiritually integrated approaches into the counseling process and is passionate about helping individuals recognize their own strengths within their life journey. She wants to support people in having faith during their seasons in life. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children along with exercising, reading, and taking walks outside. Daytime appointments can be scheduled with her Monday through Friday at the Wilmington office location.
