Paula Briedis, MA, LCMHC
Ms. Briedis has her Master of Arts degree in Christian Counseling from Western Evangelical Seminary in Portland, Oregon. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina, and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois. Having recently moved to the Jacksonville area, she is continuing her work with individuals, couples, and families. Previously she has worked as a therapist in a variety of settings, including private practice, community mental health agency, and community outreach.
With over 31 years of experience, Ms. Briedis is devoted to assisting people grow and change. Her goal is to help equip, encourage, and engage clients as they journey through difficulties they face in their lives. Bringing faith into the counseling office adds a fullness to the process of change. Her expertise covers a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, life transitions, grief, relational problems, or those simply wanting to live life more fully. She also works with survivors of sexual abuse and trauma. Offering individual, couples or group therapy, Ms. Briedis is committed to helping others navigate the rough roads of life. She is currently accepting new clients at the Jacksonville location.
